About the program
Program name: Crewzi Work-Scheduling Alerts.
Crewzi sends work-scheduling text messages on behalf of employers to their own field crews: job assignments (job name, date/time, and job-site information), reminders for unanswered assignments, and short follow-ups from the office. Recipients reply 1 to confirm, 2 if they can't make it, or 3 to ask a question.
Consent — how opt-in works
Every recipient is an employee or contracted field worker of the company that texts them. Phone numbers are never purchased, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing. These are workplace notifications, not promotional messages. No job texts are ever sent until the worker has personally confirmed by text. There are exactly two opt-in methods:
Method 1 — confirm by text (double opt-in)
- During hiring or onboarding, the worker provides their mobile number to their employer as part of their job.
- When an office administrator adds that worker to Crewzi, the software sends the worker one confirmation text before any job messages, and the worker must reply YES to opt in:
[Company] sends work-schedule texts via Crewzi. Reply YES to get them, STOP to opt out. Msg frequency varies; msg & data rates may apply.
The exact confirmation text Crewzi sends. Until the worker replies YES, no job texts are sent to them. The confirmation and the worker's reply are each recorded with a timestamp in an append-only consent log.
- On YES, the worker is opted in and receives a confirmation; job texts begin. Every message identifies the sending company and ends with “Reply STOP to opt out.”
Method 2 — texting START
A worker can also opt in (or back in after opting out) directly from their own phone by texting STARTto their employer's Crewzi number. They immediately receive this confirmation:
You're opted in to job texts from [Company]. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP anytime to opt out, HELP for help.
Example messages

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Message frequency and rates
Message frequency varies with your employer's job schedule. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.
Language
Job texts are sent in English or Spanish per each worker's preference. Workers can switch anytime by texting ESPAÑOL (for Spanish) or ENGLISH to their employer's Crewzi number — or in their crew portal settings.
Opting out
Text STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. One final confirmation of the opt-out may be sent. Your employer cannot re-enable texts to your number — only you can, by texting START.
